IPB v2.2.x: The option to activate ParaChat is not present

Problem:

I ordered ParaChat for Invision Power Board v2.2.x. But the option to add my ParaChat Site ID to activate ParaChat in my IPB is not present. What should I do?

Solution:

Log into your Invision Power Board v2.2.x Admin CP -> Tools & Settings. Under "Maintenance" in the left navigation, click the "Clean-up Tools" link. In the "IPB 2.0.x -> 2.1.0 Upgrade Tools" section, click the "Run Tool" button under "Remove Duplicate System Setting Groups from IPB 2.1.x". Once the tool has run, you will be able to activate ParaChat under the Components tab by clicking the "Chat Settings" link under "Invision Chat (ParaChat)" in the left navigation.
