Free ParaChat Evaluation For Invision Power Board

Problem:

I have tried to implement the free ParaChat evaluation in my Invision Power Board, but I see "Site ID does not exist on the chat server" display in the chat window.

Solution:

By default, your Invision Power Board has a hard-coded "codebase URL" for the production ParaChat service to communicate with ParaChat servers. The free ParaChat evaluation requires that you change the default codebase URL to that used by the evaluation. You may easily do so from your Invision Power Board Admin CP under "Components -> Invision Chat (ParaChat) -> Chat Settings". Go to the "Account Specifics" section, "Custom Applet Codebase URL" field. Input the following codebase URL into the field:
http://server26.parachat.com/pchat/applet

Click the Save button to save your edit, and then reload the chat room in your web browser.
