How to add ParaChat to Homestead web sites

How can I add ParaChat to my Homestead web site?

Solution:

1. Log into your Homestead account. Download and install the Homestead SiteBuilder program if you have not done so already.

2. Launch Homestead SiteBuilder on your computer, and use it to add a new page to your web site. Choose the "Start With Blank Page" option.

3. Click the "Page Editor" icon in the left tool bar, and you will be in "Edit" mode by default.

4. Click the "View Add Images and Files Elements" button in the tool bar (which looks like a dog-eared piece of paper with a plus sign (+) in the middle), and select "Insert HTML".

5. In the "Insert HTML" pane in the right side of the window, click the "Enter or Paste HTML" button. A new window will display into which you will paste your ParaChat room code (order now -or- get the free code).

6. In the "Insert HTML" pane in the right side of the window, you may set the "Position and Size". These values determine the placement of the ParaChat room in your new web page. We recommend setting the values to:

Top: 20
Left: 20
Width: 600
Height: 400

7. Click the "Save" icon in the top tool bar. Input the name of your new web page, such as "chat".

8. Click the "Publish" icon at the top of the tool bar to publish your new chat web page to your live web site.
