Windows Server 2003 and Java 6 (JRE 1.6.0) Issue

If you are running ParaChat Server v5.7 on a Windows Server 2003 machine, and the chat server does not respond after a recent automatic update to the machine's Java version, you may wish to be certain that the Java installed on the machine did not automatically update to Java 6 (JRE 1.6.0).  There is a known compatibility issue with Java 6 and Windows Server 2003.  The issue is easily resolved by installing Java 5 (JRE 1.5.0_11) and turning off Java auto updates:
